About film
Having lost touch with his friend who was learning the Chinese language
in Taipei, a British scholar comes to the city looking for her. Meandering
the myriad of alleys, he is gradually absorbed in the city, finding himself
surprised by the many faces of Taipei.
About the Director
Louis Lo is a scholar and director. He teaches at Taipei Tech.'s Department of English. He is the author of Male Jealousy: Literature and Film (Continuum, 2008) and co-author of Walking Macao, Reading the Baroque (HKU Press, 2009). His latest article appears in Macao - Cultural Interaction and Literary Representation (Routledge, 2014).
